We are pleased to announce the launch of MassMotion 8.0 with a host of new features. One of the biggest changes with V8.0 is the built-in polygon modelling tools, which eliminates the need for SoftImage. 3D environments can be created from scratch or imported through IFC, with the geometry automatically mapped saving time and effort.
There is a new interface design for actions, process chains and timetables with agent development and enhanced analysis options. Visualisation tools within MassMotion have been upgraded, and there is now alembic export capabilities to enhance rendering in applications such as 3ds Max.

New analysis tools

With MassMotion, users now have industry-leading analysis tools to go with MassMotion's highly regarded simulation tools. Using a high-performance database to store and retrieve simulation results, users can rapidly analyse designs using a variety of built-in graphing, mapping and filtering tools. This system is highly scalable for large crowds and for simulation scenarios that cover multiple days. Leveraging the 3D capabilities of MassMotion, the analysis system enables users to develop custom analysis based on spatial, temporal, operational, and personal characteristics of people and their environment. It is even possible to run and view single analysis on multiple result sets at the same time.

New user interface

MassMotion also introduces a new user interface that adds a range of powerful new features, while respecting the workflow that long-time users are familiar with. Dynamic scene search, select anywhere behaviour and dynamic properties make it simple to target and analyse any aspect of a simulation, while high-quality real-time 3D graphics, direct image/video capture and data export make it easy to build materials and presentations.
